Appointment Deposit
To secure your notary appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your reserved time and will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service upon completion. Deposits are non-refundable once paid, and your appointment will not be confirmed without the deposit. Failure to provide all required information may delay the appointment process, and we are not responsible for any delays or issues resulting from missing or incorrect details.
Cancellation Notification
If you need to cancel your appointment, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance (same time the day before), with 48 hours’ notice preferred. This courtesy enables us to offer your time slot to another client in need. For cancellations, please contact us by phone at 813-336-1444 or via email at skoervitch@emilenotary.com. Note: This does not apply to same-day emergency mobile notary services.
No-Show Policy
A "no-show" occurs when the signer does not attend the scheduled appointment without prior notification or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. For first-time no-shows, we will reach out to remind you of the missed appointment and provide an option to reschedule without an additional fee. However, repeated no-shows will result in forfeiting any prior deposit, and rescheduling will require a new appointment deposit.
Refunds
Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds will not be issued for completed notary acts, finalized notarizations, or apostille services already rendered. Refunds are only available for prepaid services that have not yet been provided. Deposits for scheduled appointments remain non-refundable. For apostille services, refunds exclude any costs already paid toward shipping or state and federal processing fees, as these payments are non-refundable once processed.

Requesting a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted within 3 days of the original payment date by emailing skoervitch@emilenotary.com. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary by financial institution. For requests outside this 3-day timeframe, please contact us directly.

Please note that Emile Notary, LLC does not accept responsibility for delays or issues beyond our control, including lost documents during transit or extended processing times.
